Seminar Description
A four-hour online course on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), designed for healthcare professionals and hospital staff. It covers nosocomial infections, Standard Precautions, hand hygiene, PPE, isolation measures, exposure management, and basic prevention bundles for CAUTI, CLABSI, VAP, and SSI.
What You Will Learn
- Να αναγνωρίζετε τις λοιμώξεις που σχετίζονται με τη φροντίδα υγείας και να εξηγείτε την αλυσίδα μετάδοσής τους στην καθημερινή κλινική πράξη.
- Να εφαρμόζετε σωστά τις Τυπικές Προφυλάξεις, την υγιεινή των χεριών, τα Μέσα Ατομικής Προστασίας (ΜΑΠ) και τα μέτρα απομόνωσης, βάσει αξιολόγησης κινδύνου.
- Να διαχειρίζεστε με ασφάλεια περιστατικά έκθεσης σε αίμα ή τραυματισμού από αιχμηρά αντικείμενα και να εφαρμόζετε βασικές δέσμες μέτρων πρόληψης για τις λοιμώξεις CAUTI, CLABSI, VAP and SSI.
Seminar Duration
The seminar has a total duration of 4 hours and is available in an asynchronous training format (self-paced learning), allowing participants to complete the training at any time and from any location, with complete flexibility and according to their personal schedule.

Certification in the course "Prevention and Control of Nosocomial Infections for Modern Healthcare Professionals" helps to document the compliance of healthcare organizations with recognized quality and patient safety standards.
