A short, practical CPD programme on protecting vulnerable adults in the healthcare sector, with an emphasis on recognising abuse, reporting incidents correctly and working with relevant services in Cyprus. It includes realistic hospital and community examples, short quizzes and a final assessment.

- Να εντοπίζετε βασικές μορφές κακοποίησης, παραμέλησης, εκμετάλλευσης και αυτοπαραμέλησης μέσα από ρεαλιστικά κλινικά και κοινοτικά παραδείγματα.
- Να τεκμηριώνετε σωστά, να κλιμακώνετε με ασφάλεια και να αναφέρετε περιστατικά με σεβασμό στη μυστικότητα, την αξιοπρέπεια και τις ισχύουσες διαδικασίες στην Κύπρο.
- Να εφαρμόζετε αποφάσεις στο πλαίσιο της προστασίας ευάλωτων ενηλίκων (safeguarding) σε σύντομα σενάρια νοσοκομείου και κοινότητας, με στόχο την άμεση προστασία του ευάλωτου ενήλικα.
Seminar Duration
The seminar has a total duration of 5 hours and is available in an asynchronous training format (self-paced learning), allowing participants to complete the training at any time and from any location, with complete flexibility and according to their personal schedule.

Certification in the “Protection of Vulnerable Adults – Level 2” course helps to document the compliance of healthcare organizations with recognized quality and patient safety standards. In addition, it can be an important evidence during quality inspections and accreditation processes conducted by internationally recognized organizations, such as CHKS and Accreditation Canada.
