Seminar Description
An introductory course on protecting children and adolescents in hospital and clinical settings, designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals. It covers risk identification, safe response, proper recording and reporting of concerns with a child-centred and professional approach.

- Να αναγνωρίζετε βασικές μορφές κακοποίησης, παραμέλησης, εκμετάλλευσης και ψηφιακών κινδύνων που αφορούν παιδιά και εφήβους σε νοσοκομειακά και κλινικά περιβάλλοντα.
- Να ανταποκρίνεστε με ασφάλεια και παιδοκεντρική προσέγγιση σε ανησυχίες ή αποκαλύψεις, γνωρίζοντας τα επαγγελματικά όρια και τη σημασία της έγκαιρης κλιμάκωσης.
- Να καταγράφετε και να αναφέρετε ανησυχίες με ακρίβεια, αντικειμενικότητα και εμπιστευτικότητα, σύμφωνα με τις οργανωσιακές πολιτικές, τις τοπικές διαδικασίες και τις ισχύουσες αρχές προστασίας παιδιών.
- Να κατανοείτε πώς η αυξημένη ευαλωτότητα, οι οικογενειακοί και κοινωνικοί παράγοντες, καθώς και τα δικαιώματα του παιδιού, επηρεάζουν την αξιολόγηση κινδύνου και την επαγγελματική πρακτική.
Seminar Duration
The seminar has a total duration of 5 hours and is available in an asynchronous training format (self-paced learning), allowing participants to complete the training at any time and from any location, with complete flexibility and according to their personal schedule.
Certification
Certification in the “Child and Adolescent Protection – Level 1 & 2” course helps to document the compliance of healthcare organizations with recognized quality and patient safety standards. In addition, it can be an important evidence during quality inspections and accreditation processes conducted by internationally recognized organizations, such as CHKS and Accreditation Canada.

The educational program is aimed at doctors, nurses, midwives, health professionals and all personnel who work or come into professional contact with children, adolescents and their families in hospitals, clinics, health centers and other health service structures.
